Who has time??

Okay, so I've been scouring websites for new recipes to try out on this big ole whoppin' family of mine. And I have found quite a few good ones lately, but let me tell you I have found a few that look like the ingredients would have to be flown in from God only knows where just so that you can even make them. What's up with recipes that leave you feeling a wee bit inadequate in your culinary skills? I mean really, some of these ingredients are things that I have never even heard of. Give me a break! I wanna see recipes with ingredients like milk, eggs, sugar, flour...You get the picture. And on top of that, what self-respecting, kid carting, house cleaning mother has time to cook stuff like that?  Cause if she's spending that much time on the meal then the laundry and housework will NEVER get done. So, here's a shout out to all you cooks who use REAL recipes and serve them to REAL families; to those of you who gather around the table in T-shirts and jeans instead of coats and ties. Here's to you!

This is a little sampling of some that I ran across this week while surfing Pinterest (my new FAV site!). I'll just post the links here and let you check them out. They're all easy to make, with recognizable ingredients that you probably already have in the fridge or pantry. I hope you enjoy them, and I hope they bring a little more comfort to the chaos of your kitchen!

Slutty Brownies (Yeah, I know...what a name, right?) It's cookies, brownies, and oreos....No way you could go wrong!

Crock Pot Chicken & Dumplins: One of my Hubster's favorites!

Chick Fil-A Inspired Nuggets: Now, y'all need to know that Chick Fil-A nuggets make my toes tingle...I love, love, love those things!

Last but certainly not least: Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls....You will all realize soon enough that if one of its ingredients is crescent rolls then this country girl is gonna LOVE it!!!
